PARENT MEETING SERVICES
Our Parent Meeting Services provide families with individualized guidance and support based on their child’s unique needs. Parents may schedule an Optional Individualized Social Skills Consultation to discuss their child’s social communication strengths, needs and goals, or an IEP Review & Parent Consultation to better understand their child’s educational plan and prepare for an upcoming school meeting. These services are scheduled and purchased separately from STEAM Social sessions and are not required for participation.

This consultation is purchased separately and is not included in STEAM Social tuition. It is not required for enrollment or participation.

Services may include one or more of the following: -Reviewing the current or proposed IEP -Explaining goals, accommodations, services and placement -Helping parents identify questions and concerns -Comparing parent concerns with the IEP’s present levels and goals -Preparing a prioritized list of requests for the meeting -Offering an optional follow-up after the IEP meeting (may include school collaboration) This service provides educational consultation and parent preparation. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation or guarantee changes to an IEP.) The $225 IEP Review & Parent Consultation includes review of your child’s current IEP and other related educational documents and one 60-minute parent consultation. Services exceeding the one hour will be billed at $125 per hour. BSN staff will notify the parents and receive approval before completing any billable additional work which may include school collaboration.

It may be used for extended document review, additional parent consultation, meeting preparation or follow-up support. Additional time is provided only with the parent’s prior approval.
